So I brought her up to my room and she asked if she could take pictures. "Are you kidding me?" First off, you are not my parents, nor my relative, neither are you my friend or a family friend. Second of all, I didn't see why she HAD to see my room. If you came to my house and I didn't want you to see my room, you can't see my room1 No if, ands, or buts! Thirdly, I felt that even though its a temporary room for 2 months, its our home and its up to us to decide who visits and who doesn't. so the answer is "no." I told her that I had already taken pictures and will give those to her instead. my room was clean, but not that clean. neither did I want pictures of my stuff in the PRIME albums.
So I call LJue and CZheng and I head over to check out LJue's and Spiras's double room. After that, we call a taxi to take us to dinner. Since we were 30 mins early, (the restaurant opened at 1730), we strolled around the place and found the building of Taipei Eye. Then we headed back to Ren He Yuan (雲南人和園) and had Yunnan food. Their food was decent, but relative to food in TW, it was quite expensive.
Here's a picture of LJue and I nearing the end of dinner, as you can see, the plates are almost empty!
We were done eating at around 1845, and because the show did not start until 2000, we walked around looking for dessert. We ended up getting milk tea, which was really good! I got a "Black Sugar Milk Tea" (黑糖奶茶) They put WAY too many pearls in it though.Since TaipeiEYE did not allow drinks, we had to sneak it in, but even then, it was hard to drink. oh well. it meant that I had some to drink on the way home.
The show was ok. Some parts of the acts were cool and must have taken alot of practice, but it was definately not my type of thing and no way would I have wanted to spend 880NT on it. It was separated into two sections.
1) Songs and Dances from Taiwan Aboriginal Tribes
2) Joys of Peking Opera
both sections contain stuff my brother and I would totally fast forward when watching a chinese soap opera
group picture before the show started
