in America, today would be Independence Day. so Happy 4th of July!!! I hope all you guys enjoyed fireworks, cause I didn't =(
LJue's sister is here this weekend, so I guess I will go explore Taipei by myself. I was planning to head to Linjiang St. Tourist Night Market (臨江街觀光夜市). I figured I would walk down Roosevelt Rd. until I hit Keelung Road (基隆路). Only, I never found Keelung Road. By the time I asked where I was, I was 5 minutes away from MRT Wanlong Station (萬隆站). There's nothing at Wanlong, so I decided to walk to Jingmei so I could go to the Jingmei Night Market (南機場夜市).
Jingmei wasn't all that exciting and I didn't take any pictures. Oh yea. I ordered a lemon flavored boba (I think?) and when I was in the process of poking the straw inside the cup, the cup slipped out of the bag and then cup of boba plopped to the floor and popped. What a waste of 30NT. I was very, very sad.
I took the MRT back because I was exhausted.
