so we were studying...SO SO SO hard

so its the weekend before finals. and as many of you know, we have saturday morning "PRIME training" sessions with Dr. Wilfred Li, our mentor. This saturday happens to be the second to last training!!! which means that finals are coming up. As we - JLiu, JHsieh, CWong and I - were travelling down th elevator to begin the much dreaded studying, we decided that it would be awesome if we could stay in Atkinsons Hall to study, thinking that Geisel was probably jammed packed by now. and so, we called MSiy to ask Wilfred for permission and he said YES!!!

Since the building has limited access on the weekends , we had to take shifts throughout the whole day if we wanted to get stuff from our dorms, or food, or take a shower. two people stayed inside the building so that one could go down to open the front door, and the other could open the door on the third floor after climbing a bunch of stairs! at one point, JHsieh and I even carried her bike up the stairs because it was raining outside.

after our hard work...
anyways, back to the studying part.... sometime during the day, JLiu mentioned that it would be cool if we could study at Atkinsons on Sunday . I was voted to call Wilfred to ask if we could stay overnight, but I really didn't want to. So I emailed him and figured that hopefully, he would reply before it was too late. no such luck. I ended up calling him and he was like weirded out by the fact that we would want to stay over and stuff. He even asked if we were actually studying the whole time, which were pretty much were ... he was surprised that we needed to study so much

and of course, study breaks are ESSENTIAL to studying. thinking that we had to appreciate Wilfred some how, this is what happened...


so while CWong and MSiy decided to be the oh-so studious-UCSD-students and returned to studying, JLiu, JChoy, and JHsieh had other ideas...

we ended up staying over night and slept on the floor and the table. didn't sleep very well though.
